Design Week

As an exhibitor at the inaugural Auckland Design Week, Terrazzo & Stone had the privilege of showcasing our product. Our display was a celebration to the product, the hardworking business owners, the fabricators, designers, and suppliers within the industry. At the heart of our showcase was "Everyday Luxury" - the timeless allure of terrazzo, a material that epitomises both elegance and durability. We took great pride in presenting the diverse applications of terrazzo, from sleek countertops to stunning floorings.

The highlight of our exhibit was the display of Terrazzo plinths, which garnered significant attention from the designers and architects visiting us. These plinths served as a testament to the versatility of terrazzo, showcasing its ability to elevate even the simplest of forms into works of art.

Our collaboration with Laura Furey at Designer Rugs NZ in their Grey Lynn premises further solidified our presence at Auckland Design Week. Alongside furniture brand Ligne Roset, lighting company Night Works, and The Brickery, we were able to create an immersive experience that integrated terrazzo seamlessly. Behind the scenes, the vision and hard work of event organiser Jen Jones were instrumental in bringing the Design industry in New Zealand together for this inaugural event. Her dedication and efforts ensured that Auckland Design Week was not just a showcase of products but an interactive vibrant hub of creativity and inspiration.
